Hi, Any one here ever use one of these (Plastic Hot Stapler Repair tools)? I was looking at it to repair some trim pieces. Here is an example of one brand I was looking at. There are other brands out there.

They have a video about how to use it. I was just wondering if any one has used one of these type of tools and how well they work?

I think a lot of it would depend on the condition of the plastic... if its old and brittle your new staple or weld will just likely break further back...on newer plastic it might work... but it seems like you could by a whole lot of replacement parts for that price of what will most likely be a temporary fix in most cases...
