Hello All, This truck has really got me stumped... When I bought this 98 K1500 w/vortec 350, it had a slight misfire. So I changed the plugs, wires, cap & button. That made it less noticeable, so I pulled the distributor, the gear looked like new. So I cleaned it up , reinstalled it and had the timing set. Still didn't fix it, I thought maybe its just bad gas. I drove it around for a couple day and the fuel pump went out. So I replaced the fuel pump, filter and gas. Still has the misfire, so I replaced the spider with the MPFI spider. No change, still misfiring, then the ICM goes out, I replaced it and the coil, still missing. So I decided to pulled the intake and that was it the intake gaskets had slid down, so that was the cause of the misfire issue. Now I have a difference problem. Now when i start it for the first time it runs like its on 4 cyls and after about 30 sec it clears up and runs good.It runs and drives good but after I drive it for a while, you shut it off and when you go back to start it, It doesn't want to start. It turns over and over then it will stumble, sputter over and die. It will do that a couple times and then finally stumble over and start but it kinda like spits and sputters and stumbles up in RPM's then runs good again. I'm about ready to burn it to the ground. lol Anyone have any idea what else I could do? any help would be appreciated.
