Check for things like the exhaust being against the frame or a bad rear mount. Somewhere your drive train isn't insulated from the body so your getting motor vibes.

You could have a part out of balance, but before you think about that, check your mounts and stuff as astroDzak said

Used tranny? Did it come from a reputable source?

well the trans that i put in was from a 96 forsome reason 97 trans were not the same as my 97 tahoe trans. but i noticed when i was tightening down the torque converter bolts the fly wheel was moving ininstead of the convertercomin out to meet theflywheelandyesthe transcame from a good place

now is it possible that a 96 trans is different from a 97 trans?does the torque converter on the 96 trans sit in further then the 97? or is it possible that the torque converter got stuck in to far?

Its possible that these things will get better as the tranny fluid circulates and the parts get used to you your engine vibrations.

Your bearings could be shot. There shouldnt be alot of end play from the flywheel.
