Default plug type???

I have an 01 Silverado 5.3 4X4 with 49K on it. I plan on changing the plugs because it does not seem to be firing up quite as hard as it used to at start up. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good brand or a brand not to use. Ex: Champion, Bosch, AC Delco, platinum, Splitfire etc....
I have always used Champion but someone once told me that I should stick with AC Delcobecause ofthe type of electonic systems that are in these trucks now. Thanks for any feedback you can give to me.

Default RE: plug type???

I recommend using AC spark plugs. I always prefer OEM brand plugs on what ever I'm working on. Chammpion will sometimes use one spark plug number for two different heat range applications.
