So, you can start it with the two wire plug unplugged, and that is the only time it runs? If you start it as stated, does it die when you plug it back in?

What I am asking is with the alternator unplugged will it start? If it does, plugging the plug in, does it stay running or not?

Do you have a voltmeter? If so, check the voltage with it running, unplugged at the connector, post what you have. A digital vom would be best as you'd not need to know the polarity, as I don't either.

WONT START WITH IT PLUGGED IN I HAVE DONE SOME FURTHER TESTS ( I HAVE UNPLUGGED THE ALTERNATOR 3 PIN CABLE AND JUMPERED WITH ALLIGATOR CLIPS THE SENSE WIRE AND THE RESPONSE WIRE SO I COULD TURN ON THE ALTERNATOR BY CLIPPING THE OTHER END TO THE BATTERY) WITH THAT I STARTED THE CAR WITH IT NOT CLIPPED ON alt off SO CAR IS RUNNING AND I CLIPPED ON THE GO WIRE I HAD RIGGED WHEN THE VOLTS REACHED ABOUT 13V THE CAR WOULD DIE SO I TOOK MY BATTERY CHARGER AND TURN IT ON TOO 75 AMP START 14v THE CAR WOULD NOT START I HAD THE ALT UNPLUGGED FOR THE 75 AMP START IT WAS NOT ON! BUT THE CAR RUNS GREAT WITH NO ALT OR THE 14V FROM THE BATTERY CHARGER!
