Default powerglide hotrod Sydney

G Day all, new to this site,
Hoping some one can help me i have a 383 sbc and a powerglide in my hotrod G.Box out of around1968 car . The problem is i cant use a stock dip stick ( was young when i built the car ) to see fluid level, so what i need to know is how much tranny fluid drains out of the pan when doing a oil change, that should give me a good gide.

Thanks Ron

You should have about 4.5 to 5 quarts drain out when you change it.

Recommend that you drain fluid and then measure the amount that you drained out. It may take longer but I would rather get my hands a bit messy measuring old tranny fluid than get them messy changing the tranny.
