Default Quad Beams

I had originally posted this in the silverado and full size truck section but I think i may be able to get more replies in this section. Can anybody who has ever done the quad beam modification let me know how its done. All it does is make the lo-beams stay on continuously. So when the high beams are on there are actually four lights shining instead of two, hence "quad" beams. Any help on this would be great!

I have done this on my '99 K1500 Sub and '04 Tahoe. You need: one 30A relay, an inline fuse holder(for power lead), 14ga wire, and two wire splice connectors. The switch post of the relay is connected the hot lead of the high beams with the splicer. The relay output post is spliced to the low beam power(hot) lead. You don't don't have splice into left and right sides, as the lights are wired in series. This mod tells the relay when the high beams are on, and will flow power to the low beams. Relay power can come directly from battery(recommended), or any constant(12ga) hot wire. Enjoy your new found field of view, no deer can hide from you now. Also great for making believers of those who like to "flash" you.

I don't know. In any State you must "dim" your lights to oncoming traffic anyway, so I don't see a problem. I've never been stopped here in Michigan.
