Default question about hydraulics/airbag suspension

Hey guys,

I dont know if this forum has a big lowrider following or not, but I have always been a fan of the west coast style lowriders. I have a '93 caprice wagon and I want to to put either hydraulics or bagged suspension on it, but i dont know if i need anything heavy duty or not because these cars are so heavy. I dont want it for competition or anything, I just want a basic kit. does anyone know if i would need a heavy duty kit? or would a standard one work? Thanks.

I'd go with airbags, simpler, prolly cheaper to... As for heavy duty or not, I'm not sure. I'm sure you'd be safe to run whatever someone would put under a Crown Vic, those are freaking heavy.

when i had my 63 impala i looked at hydros and airbags.. the airbags are about a $1000-$1500 for a kit alot less..i think hydros where is the $3000+ range plus the bags are probably way simple to install
