Default question bout a foreign car

Aight I know this is a Chevy Forum, but I'm sure ya'll won't mind trying to help me out, I'm feeling no love from the Mitsubishi Forum.

I'm bout to buy a radiator for my wifes 03 eclipse, they have a 1 inch core and a 5/8s core, what does that mean, does it matter which one i get, theres a decent price difference between the 2 also. Is there a way to tell what the core size is on the current radiator, where do I measure. Autozone doesn't know the difference.

This link will show you. The core size is the thickness of the fin section.

Well luckily I'm working 7/12s that week. I have to put my exhaust and new tires on the backburner... again... for her car so she'll appreciate it. I hope so anyway. LOL
