So...I am currently looking for an aftermarket in-dash navigation for my 07-11 Silverado. I had it narrowed down to two units..one running of basic Windows CE and the other Android which I have been posting questions about on the forum...haven't got too much feedback but no worries i figured an Android OS operating system is fairly new to the market...Now after me rambling here comes the QUESTION

Does the radio for 07-11 Silverado fit for different makes/models too? I was looking online and have seen the same radio being advertised for 07-11 Silverado being sold and advertised for another car.

For instance my friend had recently purchased a navigation for his traverse...

BUTTTT...aren't they selling the same radio for my car? will it work?

If you continue to browse through their Chevy/GMC head units...it appears 2-3 different models being sold for more than 7+ different make/model

I am a little confused...


But, did GMC/Chevy really did just make one factory radio for all their cars [which i think is odd because some cars are priced higher?]

just want to know if the radio for 07-11 Chevy Silverado is the same for other makes/models of GMC/CHEVY
