I just recently bought a 2003 Chevy Tahoe z71. . The car of my dreams. I have wanted one for the longest time. It's in no way in perfect condition but i still love it. When i purchased it i was told the sun roof doesn't work and the radio didn't work. Which i was fine with so i purchased it anyway and haggled him down because of the minor problems. Anyways. . I love listening to my radio while i'm cruising but unfortunately my radio doesn't function at all. It wont turn on, the lights don't even light up. So i just need some advice on what to check before i go and purchase a new radio receiver. Just so i know i've tried everything. Your help would be greatly appreciated! I am new here as well so . . First of all always check the fuses first! Then make sure there is 12 volts getting to the radio on both circuits. If there is no voltage to the unit then another one won't work either.
