Default Rear window defroster

I have an 03 Tahoe. On the rear window defroster the electrical connection on one side has come disconnected. The small flat tab that is normally attached to the window glass has disconnected. How can I reconnect it? Would soldering it work? Is there a epoxy or glue that will conduct electricity? How does this really work? Is the wire conducting heat or electricty to the wires in the glass?

Sorry I don't have a cure but I can possibly save you some money and frustration with this.
DO NOT try to solder the wire back together. I did that a few years back and found out it doesnt take much heat in one localized spot to shatter the window.
You might ask the parts stores if they have an epoxy that is conductive now????

You can buy repair kits with metal polymer epoxy. Advance Auto Parts has them I know for sure, but if you buy online, heres a link to one Click Here
