Default reduce engine power

hello I have a2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, it has the 6.o liter v8. I am having repeat issues on the 'reduce engine power' with the engine light! I have replaced the throttle body but am getting a new one tomorrow due to a maybe defect throttle body, I am getting codes: PO140,PO106,PO1516,PO2108, and sometimes a PO1518! also was told my truck needed a recalibration once the new throttle body was put on, and a new air intake line from the throttle body to the mass air flow sensor!

what will the calibration do?
what else could cause this?
what's your opinion?
