Default Removing 3rd cat

i have a 2014 chevy silverado 1500 5.3L
i have a flowmaster 40 series with duals, its not loud enough for me, ive heard removing the 3rd cat will make it some what louder. But will removing the 3rd cat affect my truck and my warranty in the long run?

1) It's against the law to remove an emission control device. 2)Check engine light will come on. 3) It will negatively affect your warranty. 4) It's loud enough.
