Okay, so I want to replace my pads and rotors to save me some money and just had a fast question.

I watched some videos of replacing the rotors on youtube and am a little confused.

Some videos it shows the wheel studs are mounted onto the actual rotor itself and you have to remove a castle nut and tap out the bearings from the old rotor to the new..

But then there are some videos that show it as just a straightforward remove and replace by removing the bracket that holds the caliper on?

Which do i have for a 1998 Chevy C1500 2WD automatic 2 dr long bed truck?
