Dropped in a new 350/290 GM Goodwrench Crate engine in our 1986 K10 w/ SM465. Timing set to 10 Degrees before TDC. Idles abnormally high, but tries to die out when idle screw is adjusted. Drove it around the block and engine died shifting from 2nd to 3rd when I mashed the gas pedal. Acted like it ran out of gas (brand new Holley Electric Fuel Pump). Feel like I am going in circles trying to figure this out. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
