Greetings! I recently picked up up a '91 G20 5.7l. thing is in great shape,low miles but sat around a bit so giving it the once over. Since I'm doing the tranny filter, I thought it would be a good time to replace shift solenoids since I'll be in there anyway and I thought they were quite cheap and easy to get.


Maybe not so much? I have a 16 bolt pan. It's a 700r4 I think. All solenoids I find for sale implicitly state 17 bolts? Everywhere is the same. Further,I only seem to find 1-2 and 2-3? Shouldn't there be another for the overdrive?

Forgive me my ignorance, until I found this van I was a Dodge guy!

I just want to know where the hell I get the solenoids and how many is there? Are they interchangeable with one another? Seems like that would not be the case
