Default small block id help

My son inherited a 65 Chevy pickup with a newer engine. From what I see, the engine is a 305. The numbers I got off of the block in front of the head are:
Top # IS KO830CDD or KC830CDD. (hard to read)
Bottom # is 1F9101393
From what I can see it was made in Canada and is a 305 or a 350.
The heads have a raised rectangle with a U in the top. From what I can tell these would be 305 heads. They aren't what use to be called the double hump head.
Any information I could get would be helpful and appreciated.
