Default Spark plug numbers

Hi
I’ve recently purchased a 79 trans am with a 7.5L 454 big block motor and I’m ordering the parts for a service, what spark plugs do I get? I’ve been asked for a number and I’ve also been told to check on this forum the current plugs may not be the exact ones required

block number is 14015445 I believe it’s a gen 4 78-90

very new to the gm motors and really appreciate the help and advice

thanks

stefan

These plugs should fit your 454:

ACDELCO 41803 {#19250975} Professional; Double Platinum

There are lots to choose from, besides the A/C brand, including Iridium plugs.

Me, I put NeverSeize on the threads of any motor that I own.

Those big block motor plugs are hard to reach in the first place.
