Default Speedo Cluster Head Failure?

Hello all. I have a 96 chevy GMT400 that is giving me fits. Speedometer, Tach, Odometer, Trip, and PRD321 indicator all quit on me. At the same time my DRL light popped up on the dash (had never been there before) I've dug through forum after forum and tried some proposed fixes. Checked all fuses, changed speed sensor on TC, wiggled wire after wire looking for a short... Cant seem to find my issue... was hoping someone has delt with this before. ABS light has been on since I bought truck but didnt think it was related. Pulled the cluster today and it looks brand new. Barely even dirty so.... im at a loss fellas.... any ideas?
