Stabilitrak System NIGHTMARE
Had a question about my CONSISTENT ongoing issue with my 08 Equinox FROM HELL !!!!!!
When i first bought the vechile back in 2012 used with only 68,000 on it, within the first 2 months, i had it back to the dealership (and im not kidding when i say this) 8 TIMES for electrical system mishaps, the TCS and Stabilitrak system being one of them, and they have done "their best" to try and fix the problems....i have ALWAYS had an issue with the fuel lines/tank/pump and the MASSIVE gas consumption the car experiences (higher than normal) which gives me on the the average about 7-9 miles to the gallon!!...the Chevy dealerships, since ive had to goto a couple have always been left scratching their heads as to what is going on with my car and I am going BROKE always trying to fix it...the dealership i bought the car from when i staryed having all these problems with in the being REFUSED to take the car back or let me trade it for a different vechile which told me they were glad to see some sucker take it off their hands!...I am NOW dealing with the not only the ongoing fuel issue but the once on again, off again, now PERMANENTE Service Stabilitrak error message when i drive it, check engine light on and the car sounding like a FREIGHT TRAIN when I drive it as well a lurching forward everytime I'm at a stop.
I can't deal let alone AFFORD this continuing CHEVY EQUINOX nightmare anymore but I'm still paying on my car loan, so I'm S.O.L until that time...and with my joke of a warranty, which has covered ZERO while I had it, my question is how much more am I going to have to shell out on this possessed P.O.S?????
