Starter engagement
I have a 1973 Chevy small block 350 that's having starter engagement issues. It'll engage for 4-5 cranks when I install a new starter then it will stop entirely. I do have a crack in the block at the far side bolt closest to the frame and I plan to drill it but the issue persisted before the crack. Any information would be helpful. (1970s k10 frame with a 1966 c20 body swapped on it)
