Ok so here it is.... Replaced the starter replaced the flex plate (hence pain in the butt). Got 8 starts with no issues and now flippin grinding again!! Common sense tells me if it started with no shims just fine 8 times, then it's not a shim issue! Should the next thing I try be replace the wires going to the starter? When I bought the truck the wires were on the headers but looked intact. Help me please wife is getting inpatient and I'm not ready to take it to a shop!!!
