I hit a bump the other day and my steering wheel cocked to the left and i heard a sqealing sound then as i made a right turn the steering wheel straightened back up and drove as normal ,Can this be the stering gear box ? wheel bearings and outer tie rod were just replaced. Its a 2001 Chevy Express Van Starcraft Conversion

The squealing sound was prolly the belt slipping on the pump. If it's driving good, and steering good. You prolly have nothing wrong.

Could also be the belt tensioner finally cashing in. Don't worry, it's an easy repair, and all major parts stores carry them.

What's your mileage?
