'98 tahoe, 350 vin R
NEW: cap/rotor, brass contacts/autolite platinum plugs/splitfire wires/fuel pump/fuel filter/air filter/bank 1 sensor 2 o2 sensor.

old plugs ok, except #5, covered in soot. #3 very slight soot. code p1345, had cam offset checked/set. now back to p0305. engine runs great, no power loss, but slight miss at idle. i've reset code multiple times with scan tool. fuel pressure is normal. was told to check EGR valve. wouldn't this set a different code, or misfire code on other cylinders as well? from what i've read, i may have faulty injector or poppet on #5.

like most, i cannot afford to go to dealer, but also cannot afford to just throw parts at this thing with fingers crossed. rig runs and drives great, no issues other than the slight miss at idle. any thoughts? ideas? things to check? something i'm missing?
