Default System charging failure

Hi! I have a 2006 chevy uplander that has literally never missed a beat in the 6 yerars I have owned it. Love it. Then I took it in for an oil change and when i turned the key on pick up it red “charging system failure”. It now says that every time I turn on the car but clears as soon as Im moving. Has anyone had this happen after a service before? Hoping its an easy fix 🤞

Side info - it appears the battery does charge when driving

It's very likely they knocked a wire loose. The oil filter is right next to the alternator on that engine. Check the small wiring plug on the back of the alternator and make sure it's clicked in all the way. That's the most common cause for this exact thing after an oil change.

It could be a loose connection or a sensor issue after the service. Since it charges while driving, it’s probably not serious and might be an easy fix.
