Default tachometer

i have a 96 beretta gt v6 3.1L without a tachometer so i bought a 3 1/2 in tach on ebay it functions fine as i was told but i dont know how to instal it please anyone know how to install a tachometer

Make sure it'll work on a V6. Tachometers read off of the distributor so one that's made for a V8 won't work on a V6 or a 4 unless it has a setting inside to change that.
