TCM replacement
Hi,
I have a NBS 2007 Silverado 4x4 vmax. I recently lost communication with TCM. I replaced the TCM with a 2009 from a wrecker. Does it need to be reprogrammed? Does the tcm need to be reprogrammed to work correctly in my truck? I get a operating system error when trying to load a tune file. Can the 2009 Tcm be reprogrammed to 2007 configuration or do I need a 2007 TCM? Does replacement need to come from another Silverado?
