I just bought a 08 1500 and the temp gauge runs about 210 and then it will creeps up past the 210 mark on the highway . Is this OK or not , It has a new radiator and water pump on it .

I'd check the radiator fan.

Welcome from Florida. Ihave a 2013 Silverado and it always stays around 210 even since it was new. In heavy traffic it creeps up a little.
