TH350 Governor gear keeps going bad
I just "inherited" an 88 IROC with a rebuilt 350. Behind it is a TH350 (I was told this is a rebuilt tranny with a shift kit).
I've had to stock up on "heavy duty" governor gears, as a couple times a week, I go through one. Is this indicative of a problem somewhere else? Does the TV Cable need adjusting (I pushed the "D" button on the cable and retracted it all the way, then hooked it up to the carb, and manually forced it to WOT). Any advice on where to start looking would be appreciated.
Year - 88
Model - Camaro
Engine - 350 (rebuilt)
Trans - TH350
