anybody know whats the biggest size tire I can put on the rear of my skirted 92 caprice. right now I have 225/75r15 but I would like to go wider. thanks..

 

years ago I used to sell tires & we had what was called a "tire fitment guide". This guide would tell us (in most cases) what larger size tires would fit a particular vehicel. I would think tire stores would still have something like that. (I hope)

 

Just go measure it.

245/60/15 on stock rims. i have em on my caprice with old Z28 rims but the width and offset is the same as the stock rims. i dont have skirts but they would clear if i did. cop cars run 225/70/15 and 235/70/15
