Towing fifth wheel with 1500
Looking to purchase Grand Design Reflections 150 Series fifth wheel advertised to be 1/2 ton towable. Do you think I could tow it with my 2017 Silverado 1500 5.3l with Air Life airbags? Weight of fifth wheel is 6945 and hitch weight is 1195.

No way. You need a 2500 3/4 ton pickup for that kind of weight and towing. 1500's are for light duty use only.

Thank you for the advice. We have decided to get the Grand Design Imagine 2670mk travel trailer with a dry weight of 6561lbs and a hitch weight of 642lbs. I think this would be a much better and safer option.
