I have a 92 Full Size Blazer. The manual states that the towing capacity is 5000lbs. I haven't tried to tow with the truck yet but when i do im going to need to tow more than that. Im needing to tow about 14000lbs. I have an enclosed trailer that fits my show car and i would like to know how to increase the towing capacity so my blazer can tow the trailer with the car in it and a little bit of detailing supplies.
My blazer already has air ride technology to level out up to 12000lbs. What do i need to do in order make the truck tow whats needed.

 

Sorry to break it to you, but your truck would need major modifications to tow 14K pounds safely. It would be much cheaper getting another vehicle designed for that kind of towing. Good Luck
