Threw a TCC code, put in new solenoids and TCC. When put everything back together, noise coming from the tranny pump. Pulled everything apart, don't see anything wrong! The pump shaft has a bit of play axially,(in and out), but I think that is as it should be. Possibly didn't torque down enough? Hate to put it back together, and get noise(knocking noise, timed with the engine revs) again? Thanks for any help,suggestions.

 

noise from the pump usually means you're sucking air or its rebuild/replace time
