Hi guys, new member here.
I purchased a 1975 Corvette Stingray and I'm slowly bringing her back to her former glory, I'm trying to find out what engine the previous owners put in her. it looks changed and it does not match the car VIN #...I have the stamp number on the block, the cast number but cant figure it out with searching just the internet. The block is painted original in blue, were i know corvette engines were painted orange. I read somewhere that 350 Chevy truck engines had blue blocks and are 4 bolt, but don't know how to tell..any help would be most appreciated...

Looks like a 454. The 4 bolt you reference is probably the main cap bolts on the crank.
The casting number is for a 350, could be either 2 or 4 bolt main, can't tell without pulling the pan. That block is from the same time frame as the car. Good luck with the project.
