Turning chrome to black
Hey I just got myself a new 2013 truck and I'm wanting to make all the chrome( bumpers, grill, badges) Black. Is there anything I should know before doing this? Any special kinds of paint or process to do? It will be going threw all kinds of weather conditions so I'd like it to last. Any kind of info on this would be helpful
Thanks in advance

This is just a guess...
But, lots of that stuff you're going to paint is Metal, and has a fair expansion/contraction with temperature changes.
I'd go with one of the Synthetic paints, like the Krylon Fusion.
I think you're going to have a bit more flexibility with that, than regular Enamel.
One other problem I see may be getting those Chrome surfaces rough enough to allow the Paint to hang on to. Possibly a sandblast or something to evenly "rough" them up.
My best offer.... Good Luck !
