I need to find out what type of engine oil is to go into a 1991 Chevy Corsica...I do not have the owner manual.....and is there a specific type of engine oil and transmission fluid that must go into the car ?

Perhaps your dealers is the best place to look

 

try mygmlink.co to find a electronic version of your owners manual (Your model year might be too old). Also helminc.com has manuals.

 

You can always stop by VatoZone or Kragen and their manuals tell you what you need and how much of it you use.

 

As long as there is some kind of oil in it, you will be fine. 10w30 will do nicely. as for trans fluid, its either type 2 or 3 and should say on the dipstick. But my friend has the exact same car, with the original owners manual so I can just ask him.
