Does anyone know what can be done. I am considering purchasing a low mileage 07 classic silverado to replace my high mileage 2003. I carry a slide-in truck camper that has its electrical conection in the front drivers side of the bed. My old truck had wiring under that corner of the bed for this. The new truck does not have the UY2 camper fifth wheel wiring option. How dificult is it or is it possible for the dealer to add the necessary wiring in that spot? I prefer not to run an adapter wire to the back. any thoughts? thanks!

 

well i think the dealer (new truck) should be ale to do it depending on his tech proficiency ,ask him or you might have to go to a place that installs a lot of fifth wheel hitches i don't think that it is a big challenge .good luck
