Default vibration/shaking

Hi All:
I have a 97 s10 blazer 4wd and all of a sudden I am getting a vibration in the front, and it gives off such a noise from it within the cab. I checked all the front suspension parts and they seem ok. It only does it under load, if I coast it stops..................any ideas???
thanks in advance
Scott

In both 4 and 2wd?

If not, perhaps it is a shake from the motor itself.

Any power problems? Idle changes? etc?

Check your driveshafts as well

I do not have an s10 but i have what seems to be the same vibration as you described. When i decelerate at low speeds i get a low vibration from the front end, I also have excessive steeringwheel slop. I havent had a chance to look into it yet (just bought the truck). But i need to get it fixed.

Is your vibration somwhat audiable in the cab? asin low humm?

Do you suffer from any steering lag?

And is the vibration the loudest below 20MPH?
