Im new to this and i needed some info i have a 1996 vortec engine. A rod bearing went out and ruined the crankshaft so i got a different one from a non vortec engine its the same casting number on both cranks it came frim a 90's truck it didn't have vortec heads so im assuming it wasnt vortec. 2of my rods are no good. My question is can i use the pistons and rods that go with the new crankshaft i got from a non vortec
