Question What do I call this??

I noticed my steering was real loose. I was checking the balljoints when i noticed the looseness was coming from the steering column itself. It is the peice right before the pump and gears under the hood.you can kinda see in the pic where it looks like there should be a bushing or something between the connecting bolt. Sorry for crappy pic its from my phone. I want to get the new peice but i dont know what to call it. any help is appreciated.

Hi sgp7679,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

A steering coupler, or rag joint.

Available for most vehicles at most large parts stores, sometimes in the Motormike "HELP" section.

Inspect your hardware, sometimes the joint goes bad because the bolts came loose and got a little ate up.
