Smile What engine do you recommend?

I'm not much of an engine guy so I thought I'd post a question here. What I'm looking for is the best V6 engine with port, no direct, fuel injection with around 300hp.
I need the torque to come in as low as possible in the RPM range. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I've been told the 4.3L is good. Any opinions on that engine?
Thanks in advance.

4.3 is a good motor. Just two cylinders knocked of a 350. You'll want a 350 for 300 HP.

3.8 supercharged out of a 2004 -2005 impala, grand prix will get you 260hp and 280 torque.
