Default what's the best diagnostic software?

hey guys!
need your help on finding the right diagnostic software please:
I drive a 2001 suburban and a friend of mine a 2005 dodge. we are in the bad situation to live in germany, so no dealers with a fitting diagnostic tool around us... - so we thought about getting our own.
what do you guys think is the best software for us?
we want to be able to read the trouble codes and to be able to read/ check even the comfort electrics like my autoride suspension e.g.

thanks already forwarding for your suggestions

I'd say EFILive is a good way to go. I've been researching it for awhile now. You can diagnose, and tune with the Flaschscan V2. they also have a programmer strictly for diagnostics. And theres a huge community out there for EFIlive. I'm bout to post a thread to see if anyone has expierience with it on here, I dont wanna join another forum.
