Okay so I just bought an 08 Tahoe and I’m looking to put some wheels on it. It has a leveling kit and stock 17s. My truck has 20x12 wheels -44 offset and 305-55-20 tires. I’m looking to run the same setup on the Tahoe but I can’t seem to find any information on fitment issues with that size. My truck is an 01 F-150 and I had to trim the lower part of the bumper to clear. I’m trying not to cut up the Tahoe because it’s in really great shape.
I believe you will need to lift the vehicle 5 or 6 inches to make those fit. My 2008 1500 has a leveling kit and biggest i can fit is 275 70 r18 with some cutting. I dont understand why chevy designed square wheel wells.
Okay I wasn’t sure my wife will be driving it more than me and she is against lifting it so I was gonna squeeze the biggest wheels that I could in there. I really like the 20x12 with the deep lip but my buddy has a 2012 Silverado with 20x10 wheels that look good
