Default Whine at startup when engine is cold (2011 Tahoe)

Good morning,

I have a 2011 Tahoe LT 4WD and the vehicle has begun making a whine noise after startup on a cold engine. The noise goes away after a few seconds, but it is lasting longer now than it was when I first started noticing it. I took a video and the noise begins in this video at about 11 seconds

Unfortunately it is the best video I've been able to take. I've read in several forums and am becoming suspicious of the AC clutch, but I'm interested in any advice anyone has because the noise is lasting longer and needs to be fixed.

I originally thought it was the power steering pump and already replaced that.

Thanks

Get an 18" or 24" long piece of 1/2 or 3/4 wood down and put one end on th component you want to check and put your ear ear on the other end.Sounds like a bearing making noise when cold and not so much when warm.Could be a belt idler, tension bearing, alternator bearing, or a/c bearing.

Yes, if the belt is old, hasn't been replaced in sometime, might be if nothing else a preventative measure to replace it, and tensioner.
