Default Wiring question

Hi there, I just rebuilt the heads in a 1991 chevy G20 with a 5.7 and now it won't run. I lined up TDC and the number one contact in the distributor and It has fuel and spark. The thing that concerns me is there is a pair of wires (black with white stripe and solid tan) in the main wire harness that I cannot find a home for. All ither harnesses have a home save for a single white lead which all my research told me is that its unused or runs to the tach. Does anybody have some insight? I would greatly appreciate it.
