2010 HHR getting chipped
Hi folks, I use my HHR as a doordash driver in Wasilla, Alaska. I just ordered a stage three 60 hp chip. This will be my first time modifying an ecotec, though I've owned three before this one, and there are currently three 2.2s in my family. (Oldest son drives an 06 Cobalt, we have a shared 09 Pontiac G5 and my HHR)
I'm just looking for a bit more pep, and hopefully an increase in fuel economy.
Has anyone here tried one of the OBD 2 port plug and play chips? Pros? Con's? I'll share my experience once I have mine installed.

turbo or na motor?
best source for tuning is zzp or www.cobaltss.net. SS is a dedicated forum for that build.

tuning a na motor won't get much bang for the buck. I would look into a top swap which you bolt a lnf turbo or lsj sc onto the 2.2. you will be limited b y the 2.2 internals but way more power than a tune to a na 2.2
I drive a lsj and and want to go stage 2 which would put me at 250whp for just under $1000....which is close to a stock lnf set up.
