We recently took our 2006 hhr in to get the shifter replaced as we were unable to shut the car off, or remove the key without accessing the override under the steering column. Now when we turn on the 4 way flashers, the indicator that the fog lights are on lights on the dash but the fog lights do not come on. alternitivly, when we press the button on the dash for the fog lights the 4-way flashers activate, and both the lights on the dash, and the lights outside the car work as 4 way.

The dealer insists that it is nothing they did while working on the shifter but it seems too coincidental to me. I figure either something was not plugged back in, or plugged in wrong... or a ground wire may have been knocked off.

Has anyone else had any problems like this?
