Default ABS & Traction Control Lights

I just bought my 2006 HHR about 2 mths. I drove my HHR in 6-8 in of snow (which was the 3rd snow in the past week). My ABS & traction control lights came on. I stopped & turned it off then restarted it but the lights are still on, it has been 2 days now. I looked in the manual & it stated to shift from 1st then to I then in Drive & ir should dissappear but it hasn't. Should I be worried or does it just need to be reset?

We've been having a similar problem with our 2007 LT, but our lights go out after the car is turned off for a few minutes. Everytime we drive in the rain or snow, or go through an automatic car wash the ABS and Traction lights come on, accompanied by a "Service Traction" message on the DIC. Recently the BRAKE light has started coming on too, but not every time. The dealer first replaced the RR wheel hub, then the wiring harness for that hub, and now they say they don't know what else to do. It's really annoying since it always happens in the rain and snow, the two times you really need the ABS and Traction control!
