Hello, new to this forum. Any results/comments on running E85 fuel in the standard HHR?

as long as its e85 compatible vehicle yr fine. it will cost more per gallon and you will get worse fuel mileage but you will pollute less.

Thanks for the reply- I will check mileage over a couple of tankfuls to compare any loss vs. cost (Los Angeles fuel is very costly!). I have previously been using 87 oct. in all my cars and cycles for 30 years, along with a supplement, Mix-I-Go from Bell Performance, which definitely provides a clean burn. Your tailpipe loses the carbon buildup after a few tank loads, so although the 87 octane may pollute more than E85, my mileage has been good as well as performance.

the theory is that you can run e85 if your vehicle is already equipped for it. The result is you get about 20 miles less to the tank, because there is less energy in e85 as opposed to gasoling.i don't think you'll notice the difference
